MEMO: To All Bryston Customers
SUBJECT: Bryston SPV 1 Connection to SP1.7.

If you are using the Bryston SPV 1 Video Switcher with a Bryston SP1.7 you already have you will need a new Eprom and RS- 232/DB-9 male to male connection cord for your SP1.7 (cable included with SPV 1)

If you are ordering an SPV 1 Video Switcher with an SP1.7 then we will sell it as a package and include a built in new Eprom in the SP1.7 and RS- 232/DB-9 male to male connection cord.

Now to confuse you even further, eventually there will be a new backboard available on the SP1.7 which will include a 3.5 millimeter phone jack. This phone jack will provide the connection for the SPV 1 Video Switcher which leaves the RS-232 connector free for control systems - (ex: Crestron/AMI). The custom 3.5 millimeter RS 232/DB-9 male connection cord for attaching the SPV 1 to the SP1.7 will be provided in the box with the SPV-1.
